Was it a fair trial

People in Australia weren't very happy when SCHAPELLE Corby was sentenced today for 20 years. People here don't think it was a fair trial.....Police all around the world should have a standardized system when it come to prossecuting. The case is usually, innocent until proven guilty, but in this case it is guilty until proven innocent. I feel so sorry for her...:(

A snippet of the article.....what would you have said??? Was is a fair trial

Corby lawyer at a loss on verdict

SCHAPELLE Corby's Indonesian lawyer does not understand why the judges in the case rejected all the evidence presented in her defence.

"I can't understand why they do that," Lily Lubis said outside outside the Bali court soon after Corby had been sentenced to 20 years in jail for trying to smuggle 4.1kg of marijuana into Indonesia.

"This is crime case. Crime case you have to consider the material fact that is brought to the court. They did not do that.

"Even the witnesses that were with Schapelle from when they leave the house until they came to airport in Denpasar, they did not take anything from there. I can't understand it. Why did they do that?"

Ms Lubis refused to respond to questions about whether Corby had received a fair trial.

"They say there is justice but you can hear directly today what is that."

Asked whether justice had been done, Ms Lubis said: "I don't think so."

Ms Lubis said an appeal would be lodged soon.

The NEW actor's studio Posted by Hello

Throbbing with a sense of promise

I just had to post this up ....

Flash floods that devastated The Actors Studio, Plaza Putra, Kuala Lumpur -
Malaysia's first privately-owned theaatre space set up by theatre veterans
Faridah Merican and Joe Hasham.

The 'new' Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre... I feel so proud...The new actor's studio....doesn't it just look awesome.

It Works??

Now i'm confused, my wireless works.

Was I dreaming? I don't know....(confused)

Well praise God....I can now work in comfort.

Taking a night off from choir. Too many assignments due.

It can't just drizzle it has to pour....pouring with assignments considering they are all due in the same week. I just finished one...worth 25%, now to move on to another..worth %)5 (can u work that out?)

* i'm still deciding on what to put in the blank space on my blog, any suggestion, do let me know....

Just as i blog it hangs....

My wireless has just died on me....i only have a week of uni to go and it decides to die at this crucial time, i soooooo can't believe it. sigh!!!!

Why why why does it happen to me of all time now.........(angry expression about now)
Thank God, there is a computer lab around the corner from where i live; part of the uni....the thought of loosing my comfort just to walk around the corner is sickening...ok ok i'm just crapping here, i want my comfort zone....must be a sign from God

Need to destress myself....gotta go for a jog, that might just calm me down...

I learnt this phrase today, i find it so beautiful when i see other's writing verses from the bible down, it's another form of involving God in your work.

"Soli Deo Gloria" - "To God (alone) be the glory" well will be giving him the glory for getting me out of the house.

Considering it's winter, and we still have sunny days, i thank God that its not cold.

ok better go jog before it gets dark

Not the actual van, but similar Posted by Hello

Have you seen this????

It's interesting how you see this all the time but never look at it twice. What am i talking about???

Last night I worked in food van for the very first time....how did i get the job, friend of mine kinda told her boss/ that i could make coffee, and he was looking for someone who could make coffee...convenient huh! so oh well...that's how i got in, with no interview I was thrown to this 'food van'. This vans i'm referring to are located at stadiums and outdoor events. Aussies are very fond of their footy, so with no doubt these vans do really well.

The van i was in, sold jam donuts, dim sims, calamari rings, chicken strips, hot dogs and coffee.

I have never made so many coffee's in a night, it's no joke. I asked my manager, how would he rate tonight? would what we had be considered as busy or not. And he replied, oh that was QUIET....quiet....quiet ( i kept repeating that word in my head) he must be joking if he consideres this quiet, i thought it was ***** busy. Well spent half the night making coffee...as the temperature gradually dropped, the crowd were no longer interested in coffee, now they wanted donuts. All i did was just collect money from every angle, not sure if i even punched in half the orders...though i know i did...sigh!!!! what ta nite.

Came home smelling like a big fat donut....eeeeiiiiiiuuuuuuuu :)

our pantry Posted by Hello

Continuation.... Posted by Hello

A bit about my place ....

Was so sad when i found out that my consumption of food as dropped. I currently live with a house mate who enjoys, eating. Maybe enjoy is such a nice word. She is constantly snacking...and she's as thin as a twig. She is trying to put on some weight but nah....it's not working. Well if i can publish the photo of our pantry...you will notice that we are ready for any storm heading our way. Even if the nearest supermarket was to fall apart, we could possibly survive for a couple of months.
