Sigh!!!!
my first long weekend (got fri and mon off), and I'm not enjoying myself frolicking in the sun by the beach somewhere, or hiking through the wilderness. Some can call it bad planning, but i feel it's very much 'not meant to be'.
If it was meant to be, i would now be up at Cairns, snorkeling n hiking or at Brisbane, just snorkeling. Everyone couldn't commit due to work and financial reasons. But you know what, I thank God it was not meant to be. Due to the recent Tsunami hit up at Solomon Island, beaches up north have been closed.
Oh well, by not going, I got to spend
Thursday night celebrating my cuz's birthday, which Shannon catered for (he made scrumpelicious pumpkin soup, roast lamb, and chocolate mousse cake) mmmm it was soooo good.
Friday night - aunt left for Bangkok and Malaysia, thus decided to spend whole day Friday with her, since it was good Friday n I had the day off. Alas, she had to go out, which left me and Shannon bumming in front of the tv; having a movie marathon.
Saturday morning, still at aunts place, uncle is persuading us to stay longer. First time home alone, i think he was feeling a bit lonely, so we (shan n I) promised to watch Mr. Bean and have dinner with him tomorrow after luncheoning at my aunts bro's place ....mmm Greek food.
As for today, Shan n I had Yum Cha with Justin, Becky and A. Nan farewelling her long stay in Melb. as she's flying home tonight.
N not to forget, this coming
Tuesday night, I'm taking Michael out for dinner to celebrate his belated birthday. We're going to this place called Blue Fire http://www.bluefiregrill.com.au/ and it's an ALL you can EAT place, i wouldn't be able to afford it on my own, but thanks to a sponsor :D i now can hehehhehe
mmmmm my long weekend of indulgence :D I'm so stuffed.
